Far West Industries Earns Coveted Gold Nugget Honors for ICON Palm Springs

Judges for the 2019 Gold Nugget Awards have named Far West Industries as a Gold Nugget Grand Award winner in its annual competition, which honors architectural design and planning excellence and draws entries from throughout the United States and internationally. Far West Industries took home the grand award for ICON Palm Springs, which was honored for Best Detached Single-Family Home 1,800 sq. feet or under.
"Gold Nugget Award winners reflect the building industry's best, brightest and most innovative architects, planners and builder/developers," said Judging Chairman and Gold Nugget ceremonies administrator Lisa Parrish. "We applaud them all."
Now in its 56th year, GNA is the largest and most prestigious competition of its kind in the nation. It honors design and planning achievements in community and home design, green-built housing, site planning, commercial, retail, mixed-use development and specialty housing categories. Winners this year were chosen from over 600 entries from around the world.

Known as the "Academy Awards" of the building industry, PCBS's Gold Nugget Awards are presented each year to the top innovators in design, planning and development. Winners will be announced and presented May 31st at the Gold Nugget Ceremony in San Francisco.
